with whom you can feel there is understanding inspite of distances
or thoughts unexpressed~ that can make this life a garden." ~ Goethe
I have found a new meaning in this quote with many sweet souls that I have found along the way in blogland...
I met Brandy thru flickr about a year ago. I was drawn to her love of nature, sweet personality and her adorableshop, Brandy Wine Boutique, where she "makes magic everyday" and I've been a fan eversince!
She was such a sweetheart to send me a surprise parcel the other day! Her presentation and the knack of knowing what a person likes are a few of her many talents... she pegged me, the lovelies she sent me had my name all over them!!
Thank you ms Brandy for shining your "sunbeam" my way and for being one of my favorite flowers in my friendship garden :)! xo
Look my little Ollie now has a little brother, "Woot"sie to play with in the mushroom forest that you made me! :)
"We cannot tell the precise moment when friendship is formed.
As in filling a vessel drop by drop,
there is at last a drop which makes it run over;
so in a series of kindnesses,
there is at last one which makes the heart run over." ~ James Boswell
I am so blessed to know this beautiful and special gal. She never ceases to astonish me with her amazing talents and kind spirit. Thank you so much for my new banners Tiffany, I LOVE them!!
Her new creations of digital banners are special & unique to her "Muse" alone, one of a kind... you have to see them for yourself by clicking on the post title above and by visiting her at the following sites too:
My name, I'm sure you would agree is not your typical name...When I was growing up I wished my name was Lisa, it would have made school a whole lot easier! MAYDAY, MAYDAY was my common nickname, hehehe ~ I hated that!! LOL!!
My parents picked it from the Bible, it's really a mans name, a grandson of Noah.
For those that are curious… it’s pronounced "mu" (u as in mud)then "dye" (as in color dye)... see hooked on phonics does work, hehe :)
I’m short, 60” = 5 feet exactly
I’m a morning person.
I never, ever get bored. I was sort of an only child, my siblings were all grown up by the time I was 5 so I got used to playing and entertaining myself.
I’m allergic to anything with aspirin in it… for years I would take Aleve (which has a small amount of a compound from aspirin)around that time of the month and I would break out in hives, for 10 years!! Doctors thought it was hormonal until one time it was so bad I had to go to the ER and finally that wonderful ER doctor figured it out! I’ve been hives free for 2 years now!
And my dream was/is to own a tea house.
That's it, I'm sure I could come up with more uninteresting stuff, lol... but the limit was 6 ! hehehe :)
Oh, wait one more thing...my Begonia is blooming!! Yay!
Thanks for stopping by!! I appreciate it so much!! :)

BUT IF YOU CALL ME ANNE, PLEASE CALL ME ANNE SPELLED WITH AN "E."
"Oh, it makes such a difference. It looks so much nicer. When you hear a name pronounced can't you always see it in your mind, just as if it was printed out? I can; and A-n-n looks dreadful, but A-n-n-e looks so much more distinguished. If you'll only call me Anne spelled with an "E", I shall try to reconcile myself to not being called Cordelia."
You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me. ~C.S. Lewis
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.~Jane Austen
One's home is like a delicious piece of pie you order in a restaurant on a country road one cozy evening - the best piece of pie you have ever eaten in your life - and can never find again. After you leave home, you may find yourself feeling homesick, even if you have a new home that has nicer wallpaper and a more efficient dishwasher than the home in which you grew up. ~Lemony Snicket
"The sweetest flower that blows, I give you as we part. For you it is a Rose, For me it is my heart." ~ Frederick Peterson 1859-1938
"I must warn you, Miss Potter, I am more than prepared to like you!" ~Millie Warne
I've loved creating since I was a child..I was blessed to have had very loving & creative parents ~ my father was a chef & the most wonderful of storytellers! Mom was an accomplished seamstress who loved making clothes for all the family & neighbors, a generous soul. They say that what one loves in childhood stays in the heart forever & that is so very true! I love hosting tea parties, gardening, painting & playing with scissors, papers & glue. Sharing is a big part of who I am ~ I put my heart into everything I do, whether it is friendships, crafting, or in day to day endevours. I find inspiration in the written word: poetry, quotes or a special letter from a friend that can make your day or maybe even change your life. I love beautiful music & friends like TiffanyJane who has been the encouragement behind starting this blog :)~ I'm married to my best friend...we love all things in nature but have a special place in our hearts for birds & butterflies. We love to go on nature walks & are always on the lookout for gifts from nature, whether in a park or a walk in our neighborhood. I'm so very grateful for my little fairy tale...
